Sandoll Samlip Hopang Font
Meet Korea's iconic winter snack "Samlip Hopang" that comes to mind when the cold wind blows as a font.
This font was developed in collaboration with "Sandoll", a Korean font company, to honor the 50-year heritage from 1971 to the present, while reflecting the evolving appearance of 'Samlip Hopang' in line with yearly trends.

Feature 1, asymmetrical stroke dynamics
The vertical strokes on the right side of letters such as ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, and ㅂ are drawn straighter and more upright than those on the left, creating a subtle asymmetry. This contrast enhances the typeface’s visual rhythm while maintaining excellent legibility.
Feature 2, the iconic ㅇ form inspired by Hopang
The circular letter ㅇ features a slightly convex top and a flatter bottom, echoing the soft, rounded silhouette of a Hopang and giving the typeface a distinctive, friendly identity.
Feature 3, terminals of 'ㅎ', 'ㅊ' inspired by the "Ho" mark
Latin 95 characters
The Latin set was designed in a humanist style, incorporating handwritten warmth to harmonize with the stroke character of Hangul.
Dingbat & Symbol
Just like the Hopang-shaped dot, the typeface includes a full set of punctuation, currency symbols, copyright marks, and commonly used special characters designed to harmonize with its overall style. The typeface also features 14 dingbats, iconic symbols associated with Samlip Hopang, such as the Ho mark, the Hopang bun, and the steamer.
