Disaster & Emergency Relief
Emergency Disaster Relief
SPC promptly supports meal replacements at the scenes of national disasters, such as earthquakes and wildfires. At the scenes of national disasters, such as the floods in 2014, MERS in 2015, Typhoon Chaba in 2016, Pohang earthquake in 2017, heat wave in 2018, wildfires in Gangwon Province in 2019, and COVID-19 in 2020, the first thing victims, volunteers, and recovery workers need is convenience food like bread and water. The SPC Happy Foundation is a social contribution foundation of SPC Group, Korea's largest baking company, and promptly donates large quantities of bread and water to the affected areas. In addition to this, we also donate funds and supplies to those in need.

Employee Participation in Emergency Relief
Together with SPC Group employees nationwide, SPC Happy Foundation mobilized quickly to support disaster-stricken communities. In 2017, over 100 employees helped with recovery efforts after the Pohang earthquake, and during the extreme heatwave in 2018, we delivered 12,000 bottles of water and 1,100 bags of ice to 1,000 vulnerable households in shantytown communities.
Supporting Emergency Relief Supplies
In March 2020, during the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, SPC Group delivered 600,000 units of bread and bottled water through the Korean Red Cross, helping medical staff, patients, and quarantined individuals.
Children and Youth Support
SPC Happy Bread Sharing Vehicles

Support for Food Delivery Vehicles for Food Bank
SPC supported six delivery vehicles in 2023 to ensure donated food could reach vulnerable groups quickly and safely, and plans to donate a total of 10 more refrigerator trucks by 2025.
